The crescent moon has been sighted. As such the 1st of Rajab will be Saturday, January 13, 2024. This determination is based on the fact that there were verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye at sunset on Friday, January 12th, 2024, in different regions of North America as confirmed by the moon-sighting committee.
